Wilku Meyer
Research Scientist (Bioinformatics and Genomics)
Wilku obtained his MSc in Botany with distinction in 2020 and proceeded with his PhD in 2021, with his thesis titled “Virulence and Genotypic Assessment of South African Puccinia helianthi Races.”
He has a broad research background in molecular biology, plant pathology, and bioinformatics. Wilku assists with all projects and focus areas as needed, contributing significantly to the development of bioinformatics within the team.
