Cara Koopman
Intern
Cara was born and raised in Worcester, and completed her school career at Worcester Gymnasium. She completed a BSc in Human Life Sciences: Biology with Psychology at Stellenbosch University in 2023, and started an internship at CenGen on 1 February 2024.
During Cara’s internship she will be trained as a technical specialist under the watchful eye of Debbie Snyman. She also assists with various administrative tasks, thereby contributing to the smooth running of the laboratory. After her internship she would like to continue with postgraduate studies.
